About this
little beginning.

Hangeul, One Step is an English-guided introduction to the Korean writing system for adult beginners. The workbook and companion are original AI-assisted educational materials prepared for editorial review. The current edition is a learning preview; it is not a paid product release or a native app store release.

Named workbooks: after payment verification, names entered for the first page are processed in your browser. They are not sent to our server, written to browser storage or shared with a name service. Closing the page clears the entered names; save your finished PDF.

Your learning data

The practice panel stores lesson completion and flashcard schedules in this browser. If you start checkout, this browser also keeps up to five checkout references and dates so you can recover a purchase after closing the return page. These references are not proof of payment; the server checks each purchase before allowing a download. The learning tools collect no microphone recording or payment details. When sales open, Stripe collects checkout contact and payment information; the server uses a purchase-session identifier to verify delivery. Card and bank details are handled by Stripe. There are no advertising or analytics scripts. Hosting infrastructure may process technical access data to serve the site.

The installable learning web app keeps progress on this device; it does not automatically sync between devices or domains. You can save and restore a progress backup from its Workbook menu. Backup files are processed on your device and contain lesson and listening progress, not purchase references, payment details or names entered for a personalised workbook. Keep your backup file private. Use Reset progress in Practice to remove learning data. To remove downloaded offline application files as well, clear this site’s browser storage. Private browsing or blocked browser storage may prevent progress from being saved.

Audio and offline use

The sound lab includes 60 built-in Korean practice clips generated with HeyGen. They play as ordinary audio files, without a runtime voice-generation request. Other blocks and lesson examples use an available Korean device voice; your browser or operating-system provider may process that text. Slow playback and repeats are practice aids, not pronunciation assessment. No microphone is accessed.

On a supporting browser, the app, lessons and built-in practice clips are available offline after the offline setup completes during an online visit. Device voices can still require a network connection. Purchases, purchase recovery and protected PDF downloads always need internet. Only a paid, verified purchase can retrieve the full workbook PDF. The free HTML sample is available separately. The learning pages are publicly available. Paid downloads always require server-side payment verification.

Purchase status

The full PDF is priced at A$29 AUD, paid once. The public learning website is available. Paid checkout opens after the live store settings are verified. The checkout server verifies Stripe payments before issuing a short-lived private PDF download. Stripe seller verification, bank payout setup, trading details and tax settings are still required before live sales. See purchase information.

References and editorial scope

See the workbook’s reference notes for linguistic sources. The production checklist calls for Korean language educator review, native-speaker audio checks and learner usability testing before a commercial edition. No endorsement by a university, government body or app store is claimed.
